Mintos


Astăzi încep o serie de articole legate de investiții financiare. În toate calculele pe care le-am făcut până acum am luat în considerare o creștere a banilor investiți de aproximativ 7%. Această cifră este luată din creșterea multianuală a burselor mondiale. Cred în continuare că dacă ai răbdare și investești constant ajungi la acest randament pe o perioadă de, să zicem, 10 ani. Acum suntem într-o perioadă excepțională, cea mai lungă perioadă de creștere a bursei americane. Nu se întrevede o criză la orizont (de fapt niciodată nu se poate să se spună din înainte când se va întâmpla) dar și randamentele investiționale sunt foarte scăzute. Practic nici o creștere pe burse în ultimul an (bursa din București face excepție acum având o creștere de peste 10%). 

Tot acest context m-a făcut să caut alte oportunități investiționale. O zonă la care m-am uitat mai atent în ultimul timp sunt așa numitele platforme p2p (peer to peer). Există acum în Europa zeci dacă nu sute de astfel de situri. Acestea au început să se dezvolte în ultimii 4-5 ani dar în ultimii 2 ani numărul lor practic a explodat

Dar despre ce este vorba. Pe scurt sunt platforme online care fac legătura dintre persoane (fizice sau juridice) ce au nevoie de bani cu cei care au bani de împrumutat. Cel puțin în acest domeniu europenii sunt mai bine reprezentați de cât americanii :-p . Majoritatea acestor platforme sunt din țările baltice datorită probabil legislației din aceste țări care favorizează astfel de afaceri. Una dintre cele mai vechi platforme este Mintos.

Mintos este o piață de investiții din Letonia care conectează companiile de împrumuturi (așa numitele IFN-uri – instituții financiare nebancare în România) cu investitorii din jurul lumii. Platforma s-a înființat în 2015 și are la data scrierii acestui post 191 884 investitori din 72 de țări ce investesc în 65 companii (IFN) din 29 țări. Pe platforma Mintos s-au finanțat până acum împrumuturi de peste 3 miliarde euro (la patru luni după ce au trecut bariera de 2 miliarde). Compania are acum 140 de angajați în 4 țări.

Mintos este cel mai mare jucător având peste 30% din piața de împrumuturi p2p dar ceea ce este impresionant este lichiditatea pe care ți-o oferă. Am văzut portofolii de 1 milion de euro retrase în 72 ore iar apoi reinvestite tot în 72 de ore. Asta datorită numărului mare de împrumuturi disponibile în orice moment. În momentul de față sunt 64 052 împrumuturi disponibile și încă 198 069 împrumuturi pe piața secundară.

Tot datorită numărului imens de împrumuturi disponibile în orice moment derivă și al doilea mare avantaj – posibilitatea de a avea o diversitate foarte mare a investiției. Astfel 10 000 euro poți să îi împarți în 1 000 împrumuturi de 10 euro. Dacă unul sau câteva împrumuturi nu se plătesc riscul tău ca investitor rămâne foarte mic.

Dar să o luăm cu începutul. Oricine persoană peste 18 ani se poate înregistra pe Mintos. Trebuie să îți creezi un cont cu o adresă de e-mail și să îți confirmi identitatea cu un act de identitate valabil. Confirmarea contului poate dura 1-2 zile lucrătoare. Apoi poți transfera bani din contul tău bancar către contul Mintos.

Ce fel de câștiguri să aștepți ? Dobânda oferită variază foarte mult de la o perioadă la alta (în funcție de raportul dintre cerere și ofertă), în funcție de perioada creditului, de originatorul de credit (aka IFN) sau de valuta în care se realizează creditul. Urmăresc de aproximativ 2 ani această platformă și cu până 6 luni în urmă găseai destul de ușor împrumuturi în euro cu 14% dobândă. Acum dobânzile au scăzut la 10,5 – 11%. Probabil peste câteva luni dobânzile vor crește din nou.

Cum se poate investi ? Există mai multe variante: 

  • Piața primară – aici poți să cauți singur printre zecile de mii de împrumuturi pe cele care îți convin cel mai mult. Ai multiple opțiuni după care poți filtra sau sorta împrumuturile exact cum îți dorești.
  • Piața secundară – este la momentul actual mai mare decât piața primară. Mulți investitori încearcă să facă un profit mai mare vânzând împrumuturi pe care le-au luat cu o dobândă mai mare înainte de termen cu ceva discount. Sau să dea anumite împrumuturi pe care le-au luat la diferite promoții (cashback) ținând pentru ei doar acel extra câstigat în interval de câteva zile. Dacă vrei să îți vinzi împrumuturile tale înainte de termen poți să faci asta în piața secundară
  • Auto Invest. Aceasta este un mod automat de investit. După ce îți alegi criteriile dorite Auto Invest va investi în împrumuturile disponibile iar, după preferință, reinvestește automat împrumuturile plătite și dobânda primită. Astfel nu trebuie să urmărești permanent contul tău pentru a verifica eventuale sume neinvestite. Poți să pui pe pauză sau să oprești oricând Auto Invest.
  • Invest & Access. Este o formulă complet automată. Diversifică la maxim investițiile făcute făcând totodată cele mai sigure investiții. Oferă și o lichiditate foarte bună, banii fiind disponibili în 24-48 ore dar și dobânda primită este mai mică. Acum este de așteptat o dobândă de 8.6%

Ce ar mai trebui știut ? 

  • Buyback guarantee – garanție de răscumpărare. Este o promisiune a IFN-ului că va replăti împrumutul și dobânda în cazul în care împrumutatul nu plătește în termen de 60 de zile. Asta nu înseamnă că împrumuturile sunt fără risc doar că transferă riscul de la împrumutant la originatorul de credite. Acum peste 90% din împrumuturi beneficiază de o astfel de garanție.
  • Unele firme de credit nu oferă dobândă pentru perioadele de întârziere a împrumuturilor. Poți să vezi care sunt originatorii de credite și să îi sortezi după plata dobânzii pentru întârzieri la “Loan originators -> Details -> Interest income on delayed payments”
  • Există oferte speciale pe perioade limitate prin care primești 1-5 % din investițiile făcute într-un anumit firmă de credite.
  • Se poate investi în diferite valute. Avantajul este că poți obține dobânzi ridicate – până la 20%. Dezavantajele sunt că există un comision de conversie valutară care probabil că se va recupera în 1-3 luni precum și că ești expus la riscul valutar – valuta în care ai investit să scadă mult în raport cu euro și să „mănânce” o parte din profit. Un alt dezavantaj este numărul redus de originatori de credite ceea ce duce la o mai mica diversificare a împrumuturilor.

Dacă un IFN dă faliment ? Este foarte puțin probabil ca toate companiile de credit să dea faliment simultan. Una poate da faliment. De fapt s-a și întâmplat. Firma Eurocent a dat faliment în 2017. Chiar și așa peste jumătate din credite au fost plătite iar pentru cele neplătite Mintos îi reprezintă pe investitori în instanță pentru recuperarea investiției.

Experiența mea cu Mintos. Cum am mai spus i-am urmărit mai de mult, am citit despre experiența altora iar în urmă cu aproximativ 6 săptămâni am devenit investitor activ. Dobânda mea medie actuală în euro este de 11,16%. Investesc doar în credite cu buyback guarantee în firme care plătesc dobândă pentru întârzieri de plată în categoria de risc A și B. Am o parte din fonduri în ruble rusești cu dobândă medie de 17,49% și în tenge din Kazahstan cu dobândă medie de 17,63%. Ultimile două sunt mai mult ca și experiment și intenționez să renunț la ele după 6 luni din motivele mai sus enumerate (diversificare mică ceea ce duce la risc crescut în caz de faliment al unui originator de credite, risc valutar).

Concluzii: avantajele Mintos sunt de necontestat. Piață mare de împrumuturi ceea ce permite o diversificare mare cu reducerea consecutivă a riscului, lichiditate crescută cu posibilitate de recuperare rapidă a banilor, experiență și vechime în piață. Toate acestea fac ca Mintos să fie o variantă demnă de luat în seamă în portofoliul tău investițional.

PS: folosește linkul meu și vei obține bonus în funcție de suma pe care hotărăști să o investești în primele 30 de zile. Investiția minimă este de 10 euro dar bonus începi să primești de la 500 euro (10 euro pt 500 investiți și peste, 20 pentru 1000, 30 pentru 2500, 60 pentru 5000 și 1% pentru peste 10 000 până la maxim 1 000 euro bonus).
